2.0   Internal and External Assessments

Throughout your Internal Assessments, you will be required to practically demonstrate and apply knowledge and skills gained during your studies. If you are unemployed, you will be expected to assume or imagine you have a job role towards which your answers to the assessments will be aligned. In some cases, you will be required to visit industry sites and prepare reports which you will be expected to present to your tutors, internal verifiers and witnesses.

Our Internal Assessments are conducted through Assignments and Mock Examinations. Two Mock Examinations are conducted for the annual programs and one mock examination for the semester programs. The format and structure of mock examinations papers fully conform with the final external examination prepared and conducted by the respective examining bodies. Our Mock examinations are used to prepare students for the final external examinations except for Pearson (Business and Technology Education Council) BTEC programs which only uses assessments in form of assignments, projects etc. and not examinations. Students also take practical assignments per each unit/module. Students who fail to obtain a minimum overall pass rate of 60% is not allowed to register for the final external assessment/examination in that particular course until he/she is ready to do so by improving his/her internal performance. You must be registered as a student member of your respective examinations body and pay for your membership and examinations before being registered for the external examinations. Read More

4.0 The fastest means of gaining your formal qualification

Unlike academic course programs which require your five (5) years to complete the program before graduating and obtaining a formal qualification but still require you to spend three (3) and more years to gain the employers’ desired competency through work experience, with our vocational and professional courses, you will gain the employers’ needed skills and competency plus a formal qualification within a year after your successful completion of each qualification level which you can use to enter into the job market and proceed with a higher level of the qualification which will further enhance your skills and competencies. You don’t need to first complete all the levels of your desired line of study before you can enter employment sector or start your own business since, as part of our qualifications requirements, you will be expected to practically apply the learnt theory through various platforms.
