CTPD Namibia Entry Requirements

The Centre’s entry requirements are:

CATEGORY A:

Grade 12 (NSSC) with the following MINIMUM Passes:

Mathematics with symbol “D” pass

English with symbol “D” pass

Accounting with symbol “D” pass

Physical Science with symbol “D” pass

Biology with symbol “D” pass

Business Studies with symbol “D” pass

CATEGORY B:

Grade 10 (JSSC) with two years (2) of work experience and the following MINIMUM Passes:

Mathematics with symbol “D” pass

English with symbol “D” pass

Accounting with symbol “D” pass

Physical Science with symbol “D” pass

Biology with symbol “D” pass

Business Studies with symbol “D” pass

CATEGORY C: PRE-REGISTRATION AND FOUNDATION (BRIDGING)

PROGRAMES

Pre-Registration and Foundation (Bridging) Programme is for Grades 10 (JSSC) applicants without requirements set out under categories A and B above to register onto any of our course programs. The Pre-registration and Foundation (Bridging) Program period vary from 1 to 2 Semesters depending on the types of course program being bridged into. For more details, refer to the Pre-Registration and Foundation (Bridging) Programme manual.

Our enrollment policy is non-discriminatory and operates on a first come first serve basis depending on availability of places. Prior to commencement of classes, students are required to undergo orientation programme where they are informed of nature of courses, study strategies useful for our types of programs, nature of assessments and examinations, institutional policies and management of the course programs, grievance procedures withdrawal procedures refund procedures and all matters that would be of interest to them during their study period. This induction is carried out during the first week of the semester.
