Another great gate to see the wonders of Namibia, Rundu Airport, only five (5) km southwest of the town of Rundu, is the only airport in the Kavango Regions and accommodate medium-sized tourist or cargo aircraft. The Airport boasts weekly flights from Windhoek through Air Namibia.
The Rundu Airport offers relief to the long distances you have to drive to see the best of the wildlife in the Kavango Regions.
Rundu Airport is earmarked to facilitate cargo operations catering from Windhoek and South Africa destined for Angola and the DRC due to its ideal storage facilities, while fuel facilities and Customs and immigration services are on call at the Airport.
