Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) 2024 Application

NOTE: All documents to be scanned in pdf and uploaded as per below guidelines.

1. Undergraduate 2018 Grade 12 Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
d. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
e. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).
f. If you are 28 years or older, proof of own income if employed (if unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths).

2. Undergraduate 2012 to 2017 Grade 12 Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document)
d. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
e. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
f. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).
g. If you are 28 years or older, proof of own income if employed (if unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths).

3. Undergraduate Prior to 2012 Grade 12 Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
e. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
f. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).
g. If you are 28 years or older, proof of own income if employed (if unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths).

4. Undergraduate Foreign Grade 12 Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Letter of evaluation for international foreign qualification from Namibia Qualification’s Authority (NQA)
e. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
f. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
g. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).
h. If you are 28 years or older, proof of own income if employed (if unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths).

5. Undergraduate Mature Age Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 10 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Mature Age Official Results from UNAM or NUST only
e. Proof of working experience
f. Proof of Income or Certificate of Services

6. Undergraduate Grade 12 Diploma Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
e. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
f. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).
g. If you are 28 years or older, proof of own income if employed (if unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths).

7. Postgraduate Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Academic Record, Proof of first degree and letter of accreditation for international foreign qualification from NQA (scan all documents into 1 pdf)
e. Proof of own income if employed. If unemployed, declaration under oath.

8. Government or SOE owned VTCs, Local Tile

a. Full Birth Certificate
b. Namibian ID
c. Grade 10 and/or Grade 12 Certificates (scan into 1 pdf document if more than one)
d. Letter of evaluation for international foreign qualification from Namibia Qualification’s Authority (NQA)
e. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
f. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
g. Parents IDs (scan both ID’s in 1 pdf document. If deceased, death certificate(s) (scan documents in 1 PDF document).

9. Privately Owned VTC/HTC, Local Tile

f. Mother’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
g. Father’s proof of income. If unemployed, declaration from Commissioner of Oaths. If deceased, death certificate.
