The Namibia University of Science and Technology is Organising a “Be a Buddy in 2019”

The NUST Buddy System bonds international students with NUST students. The objective is to ensure smooth integration of international students into the University and Namibia in general.

Eligibility

• Second or third-year NUST student • Knowledge of the University’s student processes and procedures • Membership of a NUST student society will be an advantage

Main Responsibilities

• Communicate with the international Buddy before arrival

• Assist international students with student academic processes

• Expose international students to diverse social and cultural activities

• Participate in activities of the Department of International Relations

• Build social skills (intercultural learning, communication and organisational skills)

• Build international friendships and networks

• Receive a Certificate of Recognition
