Entrance Requirements – Replaces page 20 in the Prospectus

2022 Intakes in Namibia [Universities, Colleges, VTC Intake]

Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Diploma Level 5 (Q0066)

1. Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) with 18 points in the 5 best
subjects. The candidate must obtain a D symbol (or better) in English Second
Language. OR

2. If you attained the age of 25 before January 1st in the year that you first apply and
you do NOT have the requirements #1 you may be eligible for ‘mature age
admission’ IF you already have 2 years experience in early childhood development.

OR

3. Apply for Recognition of Prior Learning where a maximum of 40% of the course 1
work can be credited towards the qualification.

Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Diploma Level 6 (Q0652)

1. Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Diploma Level 5
(Q0066) OR

2. Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) with 22 points n the 5 best subjects.
the candidate must obtain a D symbol (or better) in English Second Language.

Montessori Primary (Elementary) Diploma Level 6 (Q0067)

1. Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Diploma Level 5 (Q0066) OR

2. Montessori Early Childhood Development and Pre-Primary Diploma Level 6 (Q0652) OR

3. Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) with a minimum 22 points. One of the five subjects must be English (as a Second Language) grade D or better.

Students requesting Recognition of Prior Learning are to complete the RPL Application
Form and submit it together with their deposit and portfolio of evidence (school leaving certificate
or equivalent; curriculum vitae; reference letter/s; motivational letter, etc.) to the administrative
office for evaluation. A personal interview is essential.

Applications will be assessed by the Academic Committee and you will be informed
accordingly of the outcome thereafter.Those applications that are deemed successful will be accepted into the chosen programme.

Those applications not deemed successful will be denied admission to the programme.
