About Namibia Base Aviation

Namibia Base Aviation was started in 2011 by Mr Schalk Nel with more than 32 years experience in the Aircraft Maintenance Industry.
We are SACAA approved and registered with the Namibian Directorate of Civil Aviation as an Aircraft Maintenance Facility.
Various maintenance plans are available on request.

Namibia Base Aviation Services

Apprentice Training

We are in the process of starting an apprentice training program for approved applicants to qualify as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Maintenance

We do maintenance on all types of aircraft, including piston driven, turboprops and jet propelled – fixed wing and rotary.

Repairs

We are authorized to do small repairs on-site, major repairs we outsource to an authorized facility.

Aircraft Recovery

We do aircraft recovery right across the whole of Namibia, Angola and South Africa.

Flight Training

We are currently awaiting approval to start a flight training program for all aspirant pilots on both fixed wing and rotor aircraft.
