The successful incumbent will ensure that all the financial accounting functions are operating effectively and efficiently. |

| Specification | Archive & maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system Recording of debits and credits Update and maintain the general ledger Maintain the trail balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions Use knowledge of local laws to apply with reporting requirements Monitor any variances from the projected budget Preparing accounts and tax returns, VAT and import VAT Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure Meeting and interviewing clients Managing colleagues, workloads, and deadlines |
| Requirements | Critical Requirements: Certificate/ Degree in Bookkeeping/ Accounting Must be computer literate in MS Office 2013, Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll Sufficient experience in controlling VAT, Import VAT, Payroll, NTA, SSC & Workmen’s Compensation Sufficient experience in the retail environment Grade 12Must be located in Windhoek Must be willing to travel from time to time to do customer visits Other Requirements: Bilingual with fluency in English and Afrikaans Must have a Namibian driver’s license Must be willing to work systematically and be very organized |
