Internships at the Office of the Namibia Auditor-General

The Office of the Auditor-General welcomes internship at its office.  In the event that the intern is a student, his/her internship with the Officewill provide practical experience that will complement the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom.

 

The Office of the Auditor-General aims to provide interns with first-hand experience in the field of intern, as well as groom them in a professional work environment. Equipping them with actual work skills, ethics and values that can be transcended into their future professional careers.

 

Interns from Auditing to Human Resource fields have walked through our doors over the past years.  Individuals that complete their intern period with the OAG are successfully absorbed into the public or private sector. The Office has also fully recruited interns once a job opening exists.

 

Interns are selected when a need for them arise at the OAG.  Internship positions are not remunerated.

 

All applications and required documents should be dropped off at the Office of the Auditor-General head office.

• Curriculum Vitae
• Certified educational qualifications
• Namibian Identity Document (ID/Passport)
• Approval letter from the tertiary institution
• Cover letter indicating which field you wish to intern
