Cheetah Tours & Safaris was founded in 1992. Company owner and managing director Helmut Schäfer was born in Windhoek, Namibia and has been in the travel industry since 1985. After a few years as a tour guide in Namibia and as a tour operator in Germany, I started my own business in 1992.

It all started with off-road vehicle expeditions and tent safaris. Meanwhile, the focus of the travel offer is on the care of self-drive, fly-in safaris, guided trips for 1-5 people, as well as very high-quality luxury trips – all tailor-made and adapted to the individual needs of the travelers. After more than 25 years, Cheetah Tours & Safaris is one of the most renowned travel companies in Namibia.

The headquarters of Cheetah Tours & Safaris is in an excellent location in the heart of the Klein-Windhoek district. The company’s own offices with plenty of parking spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Guests have a cozy reception area and a pretty garden with a sun terrace at their disposal. We serve the best coffee in town and cool drinks are always provided.

There are two luxuriously furnished day rooms with bath / WC available to bridge a few hours between flights or transfers, to rest, to sort luggage, to freshen up, to move, etc.
