Is your heart yearning to step away from the city hustle-and-bustle? Visit Frans Indongo Lodge and step into the calmness and silence of the Namibian Savanna, surrounded by scents of grass and acacias.
Situated approximately 43 km from Otjiwarongo, Namibia – Frans Indongo Lodge is the ideal stop when travelling between Windhoek and Etosha National Park or the Caprivi.
Accommodation
Frans Indongo Lodge is host to 14 gorgeously decorated Rooms and Chalets, exuding the sense of life of Northern Namibia’s people in the most charming way. All of our Rooms and Chalets, modeled on traditional Ovambo Homesteads, giving guests the feeling of warmth and security of a home right in the middle of the African Bush veld.
All of the Rooms and Chalets at Frans Indongo Lodge are equipped with their own bathroom, air conditioning, fridge, hairdryer, telephone, television, and an electric kettle for tea and coffee.
We have 3 different types of accommodation available, namely: 2 x Double Rooms, 2 x Family Units, and 8 x Generously proportioned Chalets.
The Lodge and Chalets, built from materials like natural stone, wood, and reed that used for building houses in the Ovambo tribes.
Items of daily use in the Ovambo tribe (e.g. earthen pots, voluminous storage baskets and original wooden figures) serve as decoration to emphasize the African Theme – lending a very special charm to the Lodge.
