IUM | Faculty Of Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management

The Faculty delivers an industry-focussed Honours Degree and Stand-Alone programmes of study covering Tourism, Travel, Hospitality and Events Management. We share generic courses in Accounting & Finance, Economics and Mathematics, Marketing, Human Resources, Applied Entrepreneurship with other service departments. We have to our disposal, the Languages Department too that serves us Foreign Languages (French and German), in addition to Communication and Language courses.

Currently, under the Stand Alone programmes, the TTHEM faculty delivers Certificate, Higher Certificate, Higher Diploma qualifications in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality & Events Management. Graduates from the Higher Diploma stand-alone qualification can progress to do a Bachelor in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management Honours.

Faculty of Tourism, Travel, Hospitality & Events Management qualifications are accredited by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA). We have capacity too, to offer training for NTA Levels 4 and 5 Short Courses qualifications.
