In order to be admitted to this programme, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree at NQF level 7 with majors in Physics or Mathematics, or an equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, which is evaluated by the Department as being an appropriate undergraduate degree for admission. (Note that degrees with only the biological sciences as major would not be appropriate for admission) Applicants may be required to attend a pre-selection interview and/or test at the discretion of the Department
