The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) welcomed six new B360 Experts as guest lecturers in the first semester of 2019, as the two parties marked ten years of collaboration.

The rich and longstanding partnership continued this year and 14 Swiss-based industry experts and academics took part in volunteer lecturing visits to NUST. Six of these volunteers were visiting the Institution for the first time.

The guest lectures specifically visited the Faculties of Health and Applied Sciences, and Management Sciences and gave classes in areas ranging from sports marketing to environmental health and safety.

Furthermore, two economics students and one Human Resources Management students departed Namibia for Swiss shores earlier this year, where they are doing their internships. The offering of internships to Namibian students is part of B360’s “Sending North” Programme. An additional seven students will be part of this programme in the second semester of 019.

Over the past decade, 175 B360 experts have visited NUST and 57 students have travelled to Switzerland.
