Mobility Programme for NUST students to University of Huelva (Spain)

ERASMUS + Programme

As part of the inter-institutional agreement between the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and the University of Huelva (UHU), within the framework of the ERASMUS + program, the Department of Geo-Spatial Sciences and Technology, within the Faculty of Natural Resources and Spatial Sciences, offers three scholarships to successful students registered in one of the following Bachelor programs, for studying one semester at the University of Huelva:

– Bachelor of Geoinformation Technology Honours

– Bachelor of Agriculture Honours

 

Description of the mobility Programme

  1. Mobility Duration: 5 months maximum.
  2. Financial allocation: 800 euros/month (N$12 000/month) + 820 euros (N$12 300) for travel expenses. (Health insurance and accommodation not included).
  3. Area of study: Forestry, Crop and Livestock, and Environmental Protection Technology.
  4. Academic activity: Students should complete during mobility their Bachelor Honour Mini-Thesis.

 

Requirements

  1. Students registered in the Bachelor Honour Mini – Thesis in one of the programmes indicated above.
  2. Recommended Spanish Language level: B1
  3. If B1 level is not accredited, applicants must register in NUST Spanish course (contact Lasso, Jesus (EDL) jlassorey@nust.na(link sends e-mail))

 

Selection process

The criteria for selection will be as follows:

Any other information specified by the student (additional skills or skills, specific academic interest, vulnerable socio-economic situation, recommendation letters etc.)

  1. Motivation letter (the name of the Mini-Thesis supervisor must be indicated for consultation).
  2. Academic transcript of records.
  3. Proof of Spanish competence (if available) or course registration.

 

Deadline for the submission of applications is on or before 5:00 pm of October 18th, 2018. Applications should be submitted inside sealed brown envelops to the below indicated contacts:
