Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) New Master Programmes Admission – 2019

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) is proud to introduce the following new exciting programmes in 2019.

New Masters Programmes

Faculty of Management Sciences

Master in Management
The Master of Management degree is designed to address the management of and the need for advanced business innovation and entrepreneurial skills in the field of general management in Namibia. The graduates of this programme are expected to have a deeper insight into the principal areas of enterprise and entrepreneurial management and to be conversant with contemporary and current trends in enterprise management and the entrepreneurship domains.


The programme will provide qualified professionals for the tertiary and higher education sectors. These qualified and appropriately equipped Master of Management graduates could furthermore own and manage businesses across all sectors of the economy.

Admission Requirements

Applicants holding a Bachelor of Business Management Honours degree or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 8, or a 4-year pre-NQF qualification with a research component in related fields are eligible for admission into this programme.

Master of Human Resources Management

The Master of Human Resource Management is designed to provide students with the human resource management knowledge and skills at an advance level.The programme aims to equip students with relevant knowledge and relevant expertise in the areas of, labour relations, organisational behaviour and human resource development, and to operate effectively in today’s ever changing and challenging business environment both in public and private establishments.It introduces students to advanced and comprehensive principles, concepts, theories and problem-solving techniques to cope in a workplace environment.

In successful completion, graduates may be able to find employment as human resource managers, labour relations experts or managers in general, researchers in HRM and/or lectures at institutions of higher education.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Human Resources Management Honours degree or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 8 from a recognized institution or a 4-year pre-NQF qualification with a research component in related field.
