The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) instates new Registrar in 2018

Moss Garde is the new Registrar of NUST. His predecessor, Corneels Jafta, retired from the Institution last year after having served in this post for 18 years.

Garde has vast experience in higher education, having worked in Africa, USA and Europe, for several years at various levels. His responsibilities have been mainly focused on registry functions. Prior to working at NUST, he was the Dean/Registrar at the African campus of the world renowned Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland.

Other positions he has held include Registrar at the University of Wolverhampton (UK), and Dean of Enrolment and Registrar at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST).

Garde completed his postgraduate studies at the University College Dublin in Social Sciences and was a Research Fellow at the Peabody Institute at Vanderbilt University in the U.S.
