Quality Spare Parts was established in 2011 by Philip Adamson (QSP’s General Manager). The main focus of this business was used and/or pre-owned parts of Scania trucks, which is the specialized field of experience that Philip gained from 1999 to 2011.

Philip started his career by doing his apprenticeship at CAT Barloworld in Windhoek. After completing his trade in 1997, he started working as a diesel mechanic at Truck Namibia, the Scania dealer in Namibia at that stage.

In 2001 he accepted a position in the sales department as a salesman.  After only one year he was promoted to Used Parts Manager. His main focus was the dismantling of accident Scania trucks and the reselling of the parts and components of these Scania trucks. 

He was also involved from 2003 – 2006 in the repair and rebuilding of Scania trucks for the Namibian market.
