Supporting The Land Conference At Namibia University of Science and Technology

The 2nd National Land Conference will be held 1-5 October 2018 at the Safari Hotel in Windhoek, as indicated in the State of the Nation Address of 11 April 2018, by His Excellency Dr Hage Geingob, the President of the Republic of Namibia. The Conference seeks to address the structure of land ownership in Namibia.

In line with this, NUST, through the Integrated Land Management Institute (ILMI), has launched a website with documentation supporting the upcoming conference. The website, http://dna.nust.na/landconference/landconference.html, includes all individual submissions for the 1991 National Land Conference, and the 2018 National Land Conference Submissions, amongst others. Individuals and organisations interested in submitting documents for the Second National Land Conference, may send them to newlandquestion@nust.na(link sends e-mail)

The website was made possible with support from the NUST Library. ILMI is a centre of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Spatial Sciences (FNRSS) at the University and it is committed to developing reputable and multidisciplinary research and public outreach activities in the field of land, administration, property, architecture and spatial planning. It was originally established in 2006 and conceived as an arm of the Department of Land Management in order to undertake applied research, consulting services, and training.
