New Courses On Offer 2019 – Master Of Science In Development Finance
The Department of Economics within the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of Namibia is pleased to invite the first intake onto the new Master of Science (MSc) in Development Finance programme, as of January 2019.
The MSc in Development Finance programme aims to train professional development finance analysts and equip them with the necessary skills to competently have a career in development finance institutions, economic clusters of governments, commercial & investment banks with emerging markets focus, other financial services organisations and NGOs working in the development finance space. The course is a joint collaborative programme between the University of Namibia and the Africagrowth Institute (AGI), and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Development Finance (CIDEF). Programme graduates will be qualified to apply for full professional membership with CIDEF, as a Chartered Development Finance Analyst (CDFA).
Please take note:
- Applicants must be in possession of a NQF(Namibian National Qualifications Framework) Level 8 Bachelor(honours) degree qualification in economics/ commerce/ finance or an equivalent, with an overall grade average of 60% (and above) from UNAM or any other recognised institution.
- The programme will be offered on a full-time basis through a blended mode of delivery in the form of block sessions through face-to-face classes at the Main Campus,in Windhoek.
