SASSCAL Ministerial Meeting At NUST

The Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Manag ement (SASSCAL) is an initiative of a partnership between Angola, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Germany in response to the challenges of global change. As a result of its integrated regional service delivery focus, SASSCAL delivers scientific knowledge products, services and capacity building on climate change and adaptive land management.

SASSCAL will be holding its unprecedented Ministerial Meeting in Windhoek on the 21st of September 2018. The meeting is hosted by the Namibia Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF) and is sponsored by the Germany Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under the theme ‘Promoting Science for Sustainable Development’.
